In Malang and its surrounding areas, there is an abundance of skilled tailors, especially in communities like Muharto, which has often been stigmatized as underdeveloped and unsafe. To uplift local potential, we prioritize hiring skilled workers from Muharto and nearby villages. We have also built a brand called “OTRAHUM,” which is a wordplay on the name of our home base, Muharto. This unique word-reversal language is a cultural hallmark of Malang, showcasing the local wisdom that makes this city so special. Through OTRAHUM, we aim to highlight both local talent and cultural pride.
